Anybody trading DAX ?

Liquidity is great. About 80,000 contracts per day. Each point is worth 25 Euro. 1 contract on DAX index is worth about 100,000 Euro. Volatility is similar to SP500 Emini futures. Minimal price tick is 0.5 point. I don't know how big spreads are.

You can get DAX futures quotes and charts from esignal. Plus $22 Eurex fee.

With IB, commissions on DAX fut. are 3.95 EUR per 1 contract. Initial deposit - 10,000 EUR.

I'm not trading DAX futures yet, but I've observe them for a couple of weeks.

on the tech side i'd like to add that the eurex system is quite fast (faster than globex in my experience). executions from HK usually are about 2-300 milliseconds.
 
def - executions on Eurex from Hong Kong in 2 milisec. ??? How you measure this?
Ping time from computer in HK to server in Europe will be around 120 ms !
Speed of IP packets over the internet network is limited to speed of light :D 300,000 kilometres per second.

In the last 20 minutes or so, average 1 point, widest is 2 points and often only 0.5 point. No liquidity problems with this market.
