Not Indian but would love to meet you. Looooooooove INDIA.Invited by Indian Institute of Technology to deliver trading/finance seminar across top original 5 IITs (Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, Delhi, Kharagpur).
Vinod Ahuja, my Indian MBA classmate USA was shocked to hear that I told all big companies stateside to take a hike on their 100-190k offers after grad school. He couldn't sleep having seen that just an hour/day of prep work in trading made those sums look downright puny - and the fact, no office, no elaborate multiscreens, no staff, no overhead and only 1 hour per day analysis preps. He was transfixed. His family is senior admin IIT overall.
They want me to sign a contract. Haha I've never worked that hard, ever. Jumping from 1 hour per day to 12 is way three much for me. He knows I stood last in our MBA class, never did any homework on time, missed classes, tutorials, and just barely passed, haha. They know this too but I'm invited.
The establishment offered big money Indian style in Rupees. Being a trader, I was ready for them and responded with Rupee recently hit 75 to the dollar then corrected to 69. I go only for Dollar wages, American standard. They upped the quote. Now I'm tempted. LOL

Great, we will meet up then. Will keep you posted on progress. If I accept the gig, I will stay with Vinod's family in New Delhi for the IiT gig there. All other locations will be on campus housing.
Trading approved by IIT? Truth is its Vinod who is impressed but he has connections all the way to the TOP, I mean straight thru' to Modi Jii. In any case the techniques will be from basic-basic, no hanky panky no out of control risk.
You know how it is with IIT. ..... Mr. Softie (Microsoft), Google, et al grab the graduating classes hook line and sinker, and would even give scholarships to the maids and janitors for MS/MBA pgms stateside. Genius capital of the Universe. Adobe top man is IIT. Many others. Vinod used to just listen in MBA class, short notes, then nite before exams was the only fellow went to bed at 9PM while others crammed till 4AM.
However IIT-ians have a tough time with trading concepts. They just cannot grapple with the basic concept I teach = go against your natural instinct/urge in Markets. They say "buy" I say SELL, they faint.

If you have free time when I'm there, you are welcome to attend the seminar closest to Hyderabad, or whichever location you prefer. I can arrange all free transport/housing as my guest.
I read some of your posts here. Nice, good stuff. Keep at it. If, on a day of seminar I'm feeling ill or weird, I'll have you run the class. You know enough already to handle even tough questions. If you get a difficult question thrown at you, as can be expected given its IIT, just say, "Oh Sir, that qt is so easy, my driver sitting yonder can answer it in a jiffy"

If you are single, get your dancing shoes ready. Indian chicks love IIT men, but absolutely worship Finance fellas. So IIT+ Fin = match made in Heaven.
You perhaps don't know this but IITs are promoting women students bigtime. The entire place apparently was becoming a male dominated ghetto. A nice touch indeed. So maybe each year there are now 40 females out of thousands. Now, these females rarely have the looks, the silky voice, but they make up for it in spades in deeeeep conversation. A whole different ballgame. Can you handle such high IQ chicks? If you can't, we'll double team.
