I havent been getting any market data on Jan 13 from 9PM to 6PM Pacific Time. Again, I dont have any data at 9PM. I talked to the guys at IB on Jan 14th and they told me to restart TWS like three times and it magically worked again. They claimed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the market data. It just needs to be turned on and off multiple times?? kinda seems like bullshit but anyways.. Have any of you guys that use idealpro had your market data shut off the past few days?

That's one of the reasons they programmed in a daily shutdown procedure into TWS to clear the memory. Because they use Java for the platform, it tends to hog the memory functions a bit (Java is not as efficient with memory allocation as C++/C# are) but to make it cross platform, they had to go this route.

Shut it down daily to give your system resources a good colonic.

As to your question, I have not had any stuck quotes with TWS this week. Yet.
