Anybody have any ideas why futures are up so much?

They're probably delayed on CME.com.

Currently down 0.50 on my screen.

I'm guessing your are talking about emini s&p 500 most cme products trade 5:00 pm - 3:15 or 4:00pm http://cmegroup.com cme.com is the pre-merger site

Are you telling me its time to get the bear protection team to work? They are on Holiday. Not enough new Bulls taking the bait in last rally. One more follow through, then its time to jam futures down. Almost time to drop a fresh shoe....Milk the rally for another day.
