Anybody frequently trade SSO or DXO long/short thru IB?

I've looked at a couple of strategies that involve scaling in on both the long and short side with these, but for shorts I've noticed they can be hard to borrow at IB. This is very frustrating and basically means I can't trade these strategies, as I'd be screwed if I was short my first lot and couldn't scale because there were no shares available.

Anyone trade these things with any consistency thru IB?

I like the cheapies when the strategy involves significant scaling.
