Any way to ignore entire threads?

Thank you so much,Baron.You're a star.Wish I'd known about this feature when it was first introduced.Took a long time coming but thanks so very much.
 
a little offtopic but WTH..

when leafing thru the pages of a thread I find it difficult to see what page I'm on and what is the next page number to click on to see the next page in sequence. We need either a better contrasting color for the current page or a 'next page' option, or BOTH, even better.
