The conflict came when using any other platform than the tradovate platform which ended up not being cheap and more than double what AMP charges. Additional connection fees and order routing fees.

1) trading platform
2) execution/routing
3) connection/data
What I've discovered is that the fees in this business are just incredible. Everyone is in your pocket making it really tough for short term or high frequency retail traders.
From what I recall the rep told me some platforms may be more or less depending on how you use them... I was inquiring about Sierra Chart and Tradingview which had their own seperate monthly fees in order to access tradovate. Sierra there were 2 options in which one required a second set of market data. Hope that helps.
