Any trading groups in New York metro area?

I've got news for you - all the banks have left Wall St (except Deutche, they didn't get the memo). You'll find two big gyms, a BMW dealership, a Ciprianis, a Tiffanys and a Hermes store there. And lots of condos which used to be banks.

No doubt you'll get a great sense of history walking downtown, but there is no real Wall Street anymore.

If you must, go for happy hour on Stone Street.

in downtown manhattan and trade the er2. Would enjoy meeting other traders, will set up something if people PM over the next week.

I was going to have a bunch of my friends from the old Bear derivatives desk and some Goldmanites meet up at Ulysses, we could do that...

Steve, didn't you used to trade at a prop firm? What made you decide to go trading futures?

Trading from home is alright except it does get boring and you stop meeting new people compared to having a regular "job" you go to.

I miss the social aspect of a job between the hours of 8 to 5.

Trading from home does get boring and in itself is a little bit anti social. It would surely be nice to meet some of you guys and attach face to your posts. I am definitely up for a get together.

So far, it seems I am the only one from Queens. :D :D
