Any trader From Italy?

well, no offence...i dont have nuttin' against people like u that didnt come up here and take advantage of the mezzogiorno, i was taught by many professors that were terroni but i like them and were really good, and none of em took our money. it's just those bastards that take advantage of us that really piss me off. yeah, gotta admit it tho...am not a big fun of your accent either. :D

Yeah, dirty bastards.
I'm one of those, by the way :)
I'm from Naples. But I left almost 9 years ago. And I didn't go to the north, i went abroad; or better, I went further north, if we want to talk about directions. Does it count?
And my father is from the north too: born nearby Parma. So I'm only 98% terrone. :D

Not a big deal, I'm used to it.
But you might actually be the first one who doesn't like the accent. That's not usual

here in veneto we hate every one that lives below milan, and for their accent, that's what get to our nerves. even rome is considered terroni land...we cant make up shit what they say and they are loud. some of those terroni :D are right on the border of vulgarity.

Ah, so I must assume you are based in Verona? Should have known it :p
I have a good friend from Verona. We always make jokes about the dirty terroni and Bossi, who will fix everything, but we never discussed about accents.
Neapolitan dialect can sound extremely vulgar. For that it might be the worst in Italy. Still, if Naples has a bad reputation for some things, it has a pretty good reputation for other things, and some people consider it kind of cool. And they like the accent.
What can I say? I guess it can't be all shit :)

i live near venice, treviso. my mom was venetian and my dad trevisano, we have our dialect and it can be very vulgar as well, but the pure venetian one is k, funny also. i admit i like the best the sicilan dialect, can be really charismatic if spoken well...mafia style u know :D.

yeah bossi and all the times he curses the 'sacro romano impero' as he calls it. ror. u remember the parody of the ampoule of water he collected from what freakin' river was that? too funny. :D

edit; u ever read il corriere della sera? i surf it every day, good to keep in touch innit.

never been really impressed by sicilian dialect, sounds kind of hard. I do like venetian dialect, it's quite melodic. I also like dialect from Emilia, and the accent from Tuscany sounds kind of funny. Pugliese sounds also funny

I do, yes. He made a whole ceremony to take some of the Po water. Very romantic. But the best was when he talked about the Soviet Union, when the dissidents were put into a gulash. That was cool.
