if anyone is interested, i organize a full day hands-on TA day every once in a while out in Mississauga. there next one is on 30-april. it's run under the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts, which is a not-for-profit group. the $60 ($40 for CSTA mbrs) fee covers the society's costs and includes breakfast, BBQ lunch and coffees.

well, good point. in the near future members of the MTA living in Canada may be made members of the CSTA automatically. The MTA has recognized that they have no program for their non-US members and are in discussions with the CSTA to provide local events and content. there is no official word yet, and this is no promise. if something does happen, then it should be this year.
