Any scalpers that rely purely on technicals candlesticks etc?
Scalping 50 transaction+s a day?
Or are all the successful scalpers watching time & sales / gut ?



I am developing an automated scalping system right now... wondering if it has been done before on this forum\

If so what is your profit target, 5 -10 cents? 3-5 ticks etc...

average pt ~2 pts, using price range for entry and mainly T&S for exit, I also try to see reversals in 1,2,3 min TF divergences, various support/resistance levels.

Can it be automated? Sure.

Would I trust an automated system? No.
 
Virtually all my trades are technical. No indicators. I use discretion to filter trades. Usually less than 20 trades per day. The profit/loss trigger is variable.

i scalp by oscillator value(s), confirm with chart pattern, exit by early failure test on chart pattern or oscillator. Am looking at working on exit by statistical probabilities based on current volatility. Also looking to expand into options to hedge my futures trading. Lou
 
I scalp by the market delta of a product only (no other typical indicators), and I usual will have about 4 to 7 scalps a day after my market opening bracket trades are completed.
