Wow! Over 1,100 views and yet there are no traders in the area? Sounds like there are either a lot of bored people or maybe the "Views" count is suspect?

I realize I'm going way out on a limb here but I'm interested in meeting other traders in the Tampabay area. I often feel like I'm the only person who actually trades for a living in the area.
Please don't be offended but I'm not interested in meeting novice, part-time or hobby traders but people that actually pursue trading full-time for a living ... like myself.
About me: I've been trading stocks full-time since 1998 and started trading on the side in 1985. I have a very systemized approach to the market and would enjoy meeting others who are also very systemized with their trading approach. By systemized I mean researching, backtesting, forward testing, then live trading.
If you're interested and want to meet-up, add a post and maybe we can decide on a place to get together.
Full Disclaimer: I am absolutely positively not selling anything and I definitely don't want to buy anything!
I think you will find that there are no traders in the Tampabay area and I'm not sure if many remain in all of Florida?Quote from andy4:
Hi,
any body trading east if Tampa, I'm in the Lakeland area.

I'll bite. I've been trading the markets, mostly futures, full-time, for my own account, for 30+ years, plus an earlier 10 years before I was able to make money on a regular basis.
Managed as CTA about 20 years ago, using propriety platform and trading systems, with good results. Today I'm an active futures trader, technically oriented, but do not use computerized programs, nor standard indicators, although news, both short-term and more macro have taken a larger role in my trading. (Familiarity, but I am not a programmer.)
I would try to make a meeting on a Saturday afternoon, although some e-mails prior may be useful. (School nights -- aka market nights -- would not work for me.)
