Bruce, you are 100% right about all of that. I am tired of being continually badgered in this site, trolled by mods to boot. Have you ever seen such a thing on any other message board? Do the boards at ESPN (for example) include repetitive flaming and better yet, trolling by mods? Hardly.

That's where the anger eventually comes from, as you and the OP note. Eventually I get tired and frustrated from repeating myself repeatedly. If Baron ever opted to ban me for any reason, I'd never even so much as lurk here again. And I wouldn't miss a thing.

Everything I have to say has already been said with words. I post real trade blotters because they speak volumes and validate points which words cannot do.

Bruce, Daniel is the OP here. This thread is his creation, not a topic I chose to broach in ET, ever. Nkhoi has brought up my sideline hobby many more times than I have in here. Anyone who reads back thru my history of posts archived verbatim for posterity can reach their own conclusions.

I've wasted all the time I choose to in this thread. Let the trolling continue unabashed, for those who come here for such. If I have anything further to say in the future, it'll be inside the P&L 2007 thread backed up by performance proof. That is the only thread where visual proof exists... every other thread in this website with no exception falls short of that measure.

Bruce, Daniel, nkhoi, et al... God Bless you. I wish you the best and nothing less in life.

First of thanks for the apology in your prior post.

Secondly, in my other message I wasn't implying you (yourself) was a vendor.

I was just making a sarcastic (joking) commentary about you mentioning another vendor as a fun finger pointing at the moderator nkhoi to try to try to bring some humor to this thread that version77 and austinp take too seriously.

austinp does have a right to defend himself (especially against the personal attacks) as long as he doesn't mention his services.

With that said, version77 has some personal issues that includes a habit of calling other ET members names, personal attacks et cetera.

That's a fact via simply reviewing his posting history at ET...the paper trail.

I know now that version77 is not worth my time and energy to have a discussion with based upon his recent angry/tantrum like outburst.

I won't make that mistake again and already have my hands full with dealing with my own kids temper tantrums...

Lesson learned. :cool:

Simply, its sad and somewhat entertaining (funny if you really think about it) that this thread represents things about the ET community that prevents the few (there aren't many) legitimate vendors out there from showing up and posting free info without the advertising.

I know many other vendors at ET that nobody is aware they are vendors.

These members do not violate ET's conduct rules nor do they attack other members with nonsense.

They just keep coughing up free info without any adverstising nor promotion.

I also know others that do break the rules and I make it a habit of telling Baron about it.

Further, if there's a problem, I just don't understand why ET members just don't contact Baron (ET owner) prior to starting threads like this.

Threads like this are less effective and usually (not always) makes the attacker seem like he/she got some personal issues as if having a bad day in the market or at home in the personal life.

Also, there's a history (not a good one) involving version77 and austinp.

austinp has been more professional but everybody has there limits when they are being trolled.

Thus, you and I need to be careful here because there's more subsurface stuff going on here that we don't know anything about...

Especially when we see a moderator show up and saids rules are being broken but does absolutely nothing about it as if no rules are being broken. :confused:

Just the same, we should also tell ET members not to keep starting threads like this because it obviously bring more clients to a non-sponsor regardless if a non-sponsor is accepting clients or not.

We already see two traders in this thread admit they didn't even know austinp was a vendor.

In fact, they seem to enjoy his posts and so do I especially his money management commentary (good stuff).

Stuff most traders need to learn and its being freely presented to us without any advertising/promotion.

Isn't that what ET is about???

Traders helping traders without being asked to pay a fee when the info is posted at ET???

I myself have learned a lot of useful trading info while at ET that has improved my own trading and I didn't have to cough up a single penny to get it.

No ill will from me towards anybody.

Those that have personal issues...

Relax and enjoy your trading day (make some money).

P.S. Baron is much more efficient in investigating and determining if there's an issue or not with non-sponsors promoting themselves.

Don't be afraid to talk to him.

My last commenatry in this thread.

Yes, I've heard of that. I've also spent my share of time and effort trying to purify the water here.

Only complaint(s) you ever heard me say about ET is what an unregulated zoo it is. Nowhere else on the web is so much trashing, trolling and unmoderated chaos tolerated.

Once upon a time I started two different threads that got trashed to smithereens. For every helpful post I made, ten more were responding to chronic trolls.

So I stopped creating educational threads. Wouldn't you?

I answered a couple of pure trading questions in this one best I could. The rest of these pages are filled with useless troll drivel. Two of the posts have racial remarks directed at JJ. Regardless of all else, that is a pure violation of ET rules (cough, choke) that is never enforced anywhere. Did you miss those blatant two violations, nkhoi?

For the record, I never called anyone any names other than trolls. I asked, asked being the key word if Bruce was dumb or stupid. I did not state he was either. See the difference? Big difference. How many names have I been flat-out called thru my time in return?

After watching how paid sponsors like Puretick were allowed to be treated by moderators, who in their right mind would follow suit? Those threads get repeatedly pounded by trolls, with no cleanup. By the same token, non-paid members have often had their threads cleaned and/or trolls banned. That moderating should not have to be reported. Moderators in other major websites do it automatically.

You and others tout how this forum is a great educational source. It may be, for tidbits of education. Those gold nuggets are sprinkled = buried amidst moutains of overburden and caliche`. Happy digging.

Myself and the 665 other viewers logged into ET right now deserve better, if indeed pure education is what everyone seeks. We can't speak for the other 86,100 ET members who are currently away at this time.

ET stands for Entertaining Traders. That's all this thread did, and the collective manhours wasted here. Just another contribution to the main purpose of ET, driving revenue to the highest possible performance. It is what it is, and that's perfectly fine. When you stop in someplace for a drink, just be honest about what kind of establishment your bellying up to.
 
FWIW, I have read countless posts by AustinP, had several educational exchanges through various threads, PM'd numerous times, and never ONCE did Austin tell me he was a vendor, steer me to his site, or try to sell me anything.

When I accidently found out he was a vendor, I was floored - I would have never known it otherwise.

I have always been impressed with the educational information Austin has posted, and no, I have never subscribed to his room or bought his course. He helped me with an exit strategy, and he did it simply to help, no strings attached. IMHO, AustinP is a valued member of ET, vendor or not.

nkhoi, while you keep yourself busy trolling my posts with nitpicks, can you find a bit of spare time to moderate any of the blatant ET rules violations?

Help us out here... what is the wilkopedia definition of "moderate" or "to moderate"?
