Any smartphone traders? I traded all day on my iPhone

I was out and about and was able to trade all day on my iphone using the TD app and the Etrade app. Amazing how powerful these smartphones have become, and its amazing how quick you can turn trades around on these smartphones.

I am using the iPhone XS Max and the the screens etc are super quick, I have been trading on my iPhone 8 in the past but the new XS Max screen is bigger and it just feels smooth as butter when operating.

I was able to close a bunch of positions and sell short a bunch of SPY contracts when stuck in traffic :)

Who would have thought this was possible 15 years ago.

Did you just discover the use of using a phone to trade? You make it sound like the break though technology and smartphone trading came out only a few days ago... I'm a bit confused because this has been around for over 15 years....
I have done thousands of trades through my phone over the last 10+ years on phones with a smaller screen that were monochrome!

was doing it on a hp i-paq before you were born. :D

I paq haaaa,

I had the pocket pc which was a big smartphone back in the day when everyone thought the smaller the phone the cooler you were, (Motorola razor)....I had smartphones before smartphones were the talk of the Town....now the bigger the phone the more hip you are!!!

Although i can trade via phone, prefer my cheap 8inch Lenova Tab 4 plus, have been for 6 years i guess.

Trading while hill walking if i pick a hill with good 4g.

I do 99% of my trading Mobile...$189,000,000 this year alone..& so far I'm going to have way too much capital gain tax..the bad part:((

lol Silver you fraud. That’s notional transactions on opening and closing. They also use the multiplier on options. IOW ten lot shows as 1,000 shares. F*cking scammer.

Have to love technology
Around 2003 I was a slave to the screen and I remember having to call in for automated quotes and having resting orders GTC if I left my desk. And then edge network and 3 g came into play. Now I can do what ever I want from my iPhone with a 5.5 screen and average 60-100 mbps lte speeds. I also still use it to hotspot my laptop and tablet if I want to see bigger charts. At the same time it is also a curse with the markets being at your fingertips 24 hours a day and 6 days a week.

Solution is easy. Automate and then just use the tool to monitor.
