Any recommended youtube trading videos?

Sorry, futures on indexes i would say.

At that level, not knowing what things really are, Tastytrades have some stuff.

Good luck but remember, you don't need to trade unless you are really good at anything you do in life already* and trade Sim until you have a track record. For Futures anyway, it looks easy, it eats naive traders for breakfast. Options could be better for many.

A friend recommended to me not to go live until I had ten profitable Sim weeks with no mulligans. That took me about 7 months working 16 hours a day, six-seven days a week. I need little sleep.

I started with a trading school (I would not really recommend them but good for the basics) and was in their top three most successful students I was told of thousands, after a year live (just chatting to an instructor).

He reckoned for Futures most people need about 18 months full time 6 hours a day at least, to not just kill their account one day in the first 2 years live.

*Trading futures never turns out to be the thing a dreamer/slacker was gifted at.

Course is free. I haven’t done the new course as he re did it all/still adding modules.

It added a lot to the way I view markets and looked for ideas to backtest.

Chatwithtraders podcast is another one that lets me think about new areas of trading I can add to my own trading or even to see how others trade the markets.

Between both I’d always have something I wanted to research and learn more about which leads to other sources which lead to more ideas to backtest and data to look into. Always have more stuff I want to do then I have time.

Any good youtube videos anyone can recommend, either just to help me learn trading generally, or even better if they talk about strategies that have worked for you? Thanks!
Saltynuts,

I am not a profitable trader, i am still watching the charts and getting screen time and just in the trenches really. I am programmer as well, so I can program a strategy and back test it as well.

However, I decided to leave the automation alone for awhile and get back on the charts manually trading. I feel it makes no sense to program something I can't trade profitable manually anyway. Programming internet strategies and hoping they make money, is not wise IMO.

I like price action. I like to look at the chart and make good decision. 1. which way is price moving. 2. pick a spot to get on trend of the moment. 3. manage the trade (look for any reason why it will not go in my favor or hit my stop loss 4. Manage the trade.

We do an analysis every Monday. We hope this helps Trading Videos
