Any recommendations for a Futures Trading Platform?

I downloaded Ninja Trader connected it to my IB account, but charts aren't loading. The good sign is I seem to have a successful connection with a green signal symbol in the NT platform.

Problem is Ninja trader wrote me back saying "we have limited staff and other obligations, and unable to call me or do remote support...". I guess I'm only able to communicate my issues via email and there turnaround time is slow too I've noticed.

Looks like a good platform that's able to connect to my IB, but support doesn't seem that great in getting what I need done, and I'm just asking a basic step to setup my connection...

Try Quantower. Extremely fast & stable. C# language, development team is easily accessible via their site and/or Discord. free to use via AMP/CQG else a license of your own allows for Rithmic. they're working on a connection to TT as well which I think isn't far off.

can you connect it with Interactive Brokers?

Yes, you should have charts provided that you are enabled for CME market data. If you can get a chart in IB TWS, then you should get a chart in NinjaTrader. Yes to your Market Replay question.

With respect to the response by our support team, that is unlike us and unacceptable. Can you PM me a ticket # and the email address you used and I will escalate.

Hi ray, I've sent you a PM.

Thank you, I have sent you a response.

I like Motivewave so far. I bought the orderflow edition. You can use it with IB`s datafeed (not tick based) or with dxfeed or barchart. Dxfeed´s CME, Top of book, costs $19,00

I'm using motivewave demo right now, it's pretty good. The standard edition is 24/mo. What did you end up getting for 19?

Thank you, I have sent you a response.

Ray,

Sorry to use this way to ask something, but thru support I will get the standard answer: thank you....we will pass this to....ticket number is...
And then you never hear from it anymore.

I see in the latest account settings a possibility to put a dayly limit on your losses. That's very good, but why is it in $? It should be in % of your account size.
If my account grows (or gets smaller) I have to change each time the fixed amount in $. It would be easier if I could put 10% limit on my accountsize. I would only have to put 1 time the limit. And percentage wise my risk is always at the same level, no matter the variation of my account.
