any Prop firms hiring.?

Already going to take the topstep trader program
would just like to know.
if any prop firms are hiring.
what would be the PnL profile they would look for.
plus other criteria
prefer trading live on floor with other traders rather than remote .
( though if you do know some good prop shops with only remote trading option do let me know)

Thanks

They look for profitable traders that either traded a small retail account or have only paper traded. Firms that are currently hiring with the above criteria are Goldman Sachs, SAC Capital, JP Morgan, GETCO Trading. Just send a resume to Human Resources. They usually pay a pretty big salary and a percentage of your profits. With this bull market, jobs are plentiful.

Also, you might want to try the search function since this question is asked like every other day.

Do the big banks hire some one just like that? I had to go through campus recruiting from an ivy league school and many rounds of interviews....I made it to the super saturday...

My understanding is that due to DOdd-Frank and the new Volker law, banks cannot do any more prop trading. They can only Hedge. So why would Golman hire a trader ?

+1 it should be harder than that to get through,
even here just for a dumb analyst(work on excel) profile there are many rounds of interview, even from a top school in the country.

If you're interested in firms that do futures trading there are quite many it seems. But you will pay desk fee in some matter, but you will receive seed capital / get bigger size as you progress. Otherwise it wouldn't really be worth it i feel, maybe only if you have capital but wanna get lower costs (commissions).

But i don't have any more details, haven't traded in one. Could name a few if you wish.
