I agree. The big money is position trading. I day trade primarily because it fits my personality better.


As for day trading being around for only 5 - 7 years? I've been day trading since 1987, and it was around before that. I had to use a satellite, and data was expensive as hell, but it worked just fine. Calling orders into the pits was a nightmare though compared to the ease of one click order entry and instant execution.
