Any one use Timing Solution software?

Any of you ever played with this?

Interesting...cycles are everything not just in stocks but in life. Much better methods imo for trading than the typical support resistance bs that 99% of traders blindly follow... I especially like the Astro planetary cycles. :)

Unfortunately the same old question when it comes to any trading software or systems is if it works then why are they not using it themselves instead of selling it?

My only subscriptions are EW related but both are tools I use for confirmation as they are placing their own forecasts daily that they actively trade on.

Several years ago I subscribed to Larry Williams weekly market analysis and he used this software for long term forecasting. I remember that he had a projection that showed a lagging correlation between bonds and oil. The price charts would cycle together when you offset one of them 6 months behind the other, so it gave a projection into the future for the market that was offset into the past (forgot which one was which). He uses this software to find stuff like that. It was pretty interesting, although it’s not a black-box system to follow as it seems like you have to pick your own parameters and markets to analyze. It’s a tool, not a trading system or platform. Larry only showed examples on weekly charts and I’m wondering if it could be used with shorter time frames like hourly or less.

The actual cycles app has disappeared.
The author of the cycles app, Lars von Thienen, made some related source code available.

Interesting stuff. I have always noticed cycles in real estate, stocks, but even at the bar or grocery you will see the lineups cycle from busy to sparse...not just an average spread over time. Cycles are everywhere.

This is why I trade using EW. :)
