Any of you guys lost your health coverage?

I received the cancellation letter this week, as my current coverage doesn't conform to the new aca law.:mad:

I HAD great insurance until this. I'll be losing my primary care doctor as well unless I want to pay cash.

Since I'm a Veteran, I can go to the "beloved" VA. What's that mean? It means the gubment (i.e., you guys) get to pay the bill now.

I sit here and wonder just why we're letting this shit happen? This nazi son of a bitch stores EVERY phone call, text, etc., in America WITHOUT probable cause, and is able to literally force free people to buy a 3rd party product that's more expensive than what they HAD.:mad: :mad: :mad: AND THESE NIGHTMARES AREN'T EVEN A FRACTION OF THE NAZI SHIT HE'S GOTTEN AWAY WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's next? Am I going to have to install government cameras in my fucking bathroom?!?! Am I going to have to start paying a fucking tax called "sorry I'm white, work, and want to be free"???!?!??:mad: :mad: Where are the Patriots flipping the fuck out over this shit, and stopping it??????!?!?

My insurance company saw that the shit was gonna hit the fan with Odumbocare so they offered to cancel everyone's policies as of 11/30/13 and then re-write the exact same policy from 12/1/13 through 11/30/14 so as to buy us all a year. We have a "lousy" policy (high deductible since we're both healthy, work out, etc.) per Odumbo but in reality it's so much better than what we'd have under the dictator. Our monthly premiums would jump 180% and our deductible would go up 27%. If Republicans have any brains they'll get catastrophic policies reinstated for all of us who want them. It's such a pathetic situation when healthy people are not allowed to buy the product they want/need and then at the same time those healthy people get ripped off with drastically higher premiums to subsidize the fat slobs who have pre-existing conditions due to their own choices (i.e. I'm talking about those who choose to eat crap, don't exercise, druggies, alcohol abusers and then have a "pre-existing" condition). I'm compassionate and understanding of those who have real, legitimate pre-existing conditions due to no fault of their own.

You better check and see which Priority Group you're in. Benefits are now means tested. Not everyone is qualified for everything just becasue you're a Vet, which I think is bullshit, but that's how it is now.

Why is your opinion that it's bullshit ? Sounds fair to me, help the vets who need help and the successful one's can help take care of themselves. Or is there something else ?

Any Vet should get free healthcare for life. A small price for society to pay all things considered. Given the hundreds of billions wasted by this criminally corrupt government each and every year, I'm sure they can find the money.

I'm inclined to agree and that's the only government heal care I'm not opposed to.

Hell congressmen get a pension for life after a single term. Vets have to serve for 20 years and then get what, half their former pay for a pension?

That's inherently wrong.
