Any .NET programmers who are looking to algo trade?

Hey I work with programmers, if the strategy can be proven profitable we could get it automated.
PM me if you have a strategy idea and want to get some tips how to not get ripped off by those who harvest ideas.
lol yeah, I would just hire someone. ODesk & Elance are great resources for programmers that have no interest in trading. I've even tried to 'offer them my model' as a form of payment (obviously a ruse) to test them during the interview process.
exactly, sometimes simple logic leads to the goal "almost surely": a) the OP is a snake oil salesman who is trying to hook talent on the cheap with empty promises, or b) OP does not understand he can cheaply outsource coding work to people who have no vested interest in any trading edge in which case I am not sure he will fare much better with soliciting programmers here. Conclusion: Something fishy as usual. I bet the line goes like this "I am building a financial trading application/portal and if you help me then you will get a stake in this or a share of future revenues or a sweaty handshake"
I thought it would be more efficient to discuss over PM so that is why I requested it. Before I'm publicly lynched, I'll just disclose my proposal. I had a spread trading algo developed for the Rithmic API. It is basic but functional and has been tested live. If anybody would like to develop it further, I'm offering the source code for free. The only caveat is that the code is uncommented.
no worries. I knew from your history you were not out to swindle anyone. vol doesn't sleep much from what i gather so he can be a little jumpy.
