Hi. Sorry for late reply.
I don't tend to really come here anymore.
Basically, after 5+ years full time of trying to make this work, i've kind of finally threw the towel in
Even though I planned to carry on trying until I died, we only get one life. Mine is likely to be shorter than most (and i'm only in my 20's) and as hard as it is to do, I guess I have to accept that it's too hard for me. I've essentially wasted a huge chunk of my life on this which is the only depressing part for me. I could have mastered a useful skill in that time!
Like I said many times before - it's never been about money. I just enjoyed it. If someone offered me a magic spell which meant I could trade for a living but I would only make the national minimum wage, i'd still take it! I don't really care for money, but I do like spending my time doing something I enjoy.
Anyway, that dream looks to have come to an end.

Trading is not that hard. -- but that's not to say or imply that everyone can do it either.
it's your decision. your life. -- too bad you didn't see the light with trading.
Nothing wrong with trading while going to college, nothing wrong with trading while having a job (you can trade before/after work) and nothing wrong with trading while owning a business...basically nothing wrong with trading while mastering another skill and traders shouldn't put themselves in the position where they have to choose one or the other.
I truly believe that if you have other passions (it could be a job) you like while you're learning about trading and while you're trading...you will not feel like you gave up something to try trading. Thus, there will not be this sense of loss in your life if trading doesn't work because its not the only thing you do because you are defined as a person by more than just one thing.

One of the questions I have asked many who have wanted me to mentor them, why do they want to trade for a living? Buddy, it isn't for the money, YOU will never make it and I never offer to work with them. You not wanting "it" tells me you are not ruthless, IT IS YOU AGAINST THEM and for any other reason than for the money you just never will succeed in trading or for that matter business. It is nice to do what you enjoy while doing it, but first rule of business and especially trading which is a business is make loads of money or you go bankrupt.

I'm not gonna say anything about your trading, for good or bad. All I will say is that you should take time off, be it months or years, and pick yourself back up. If you ever want to come back, you know where to look. This market will always be there for you, as if it were just another trading day...like you've never left.
