Im a CTA(almost 2 yrs now) and have absolutely no need for CFA certification( aside from the fact that I don't qualify since I only have a 2 yr assoc degree). Even if I did have a bachelors degree, I wouldn't bother getting CFA cert,.... for what? Just to have the designation?...its a waste of time. If your pulling in good returns as a trader then dont waste your time with CFA. Better to dedicate time to perfecting your trading skills to pull in higher returns.
