Any idea why usd stronger towards end of 2008?

Just some thoughts:

Its a RACE to Zero with many Central Bank Rates!

The Russians devalued their RUBBLE quite strongly.

The Japanese did the same with the YEN.

The WON went in the crapper.

The Chinese won't float the Rembini.

Every third world country, and some industrials, want their exports SOLD. Best way to do that is devalue your currency.

Yup...race to 0 is a good way to put it...
I wonder why the ECB and the BOE aren't already at 0...
