I'm completely wrong?? name 1 retail trader with an audited track record trading the ES Profitably for over 6 months.
Dont blame judgement and experience for failure. I've spent more time studying ES & SPY charts than it would take to get a bachelors degree and still couldn't make a profit.

Of course not everything is random. Rare events like flash crashes and major breaking news in stocks (during market hours) somtimes provide predictable momentum but normal trading doesn't.

Retail traders, and pro individual traders, don't get audits. There is no legal or tax requirement to get an audit, if you aren't managing client funds then there is no business incentive to get an audit - why would any individual trader throw away 5-10k and waste countless hours to get audited? The ES is scalable to huge size (for any individual trader) and can be traded with enormous leverage, so if you have an edge then the last thing you'd do is raise client money - you would just trade it yourself at absurd compound rates of return and keep 100% of the upside instead of giving 80% to clients.

'Rare' events (so rare they happen dozens of times a year) like flash crashes and major breaking news are all you need to outperform significantly. Just don't trade when there is no edge (typical daily chop) and only trade when there is predictable momentum.
