1. Registering and installing QuoteTrader
2. Double-click the desktop icon
QuoteTrader immeadiately starts working with simulated data.

To place a paper trade:
1. Click the blue "market" buy button to get (long) into the market
2. See your profit or loss, tick by tick (http://pmd.esignal.com/quotetrader/images/pnl_meter.jpg)
3. To get out, click the "Flatten" button

There's also a performance reporting engine, so you can measure how well your trading improves by using QuoteTrader.

To be honest, I am not 100% sure, sorry. I thought it was, I just checked their FAQ and it mentioned registration.
