are some great prop firms for US traders. They don't require any capital, and even give you an extremely high starting salary (close to 100,000 + bonus dependent on performance). You would trade with the firm's money, and it would be a great start for people who don't have any capital.
They hire plenty of entry levels, so you should be fine to get some experience here! It's such a scam for prop firms to solicit fees on its employees and force them to use their own capital. There are numerous other prop firms that are reputable, actually provide training, and gives salary. Here, it is a learning environment, and you get to collaborate with smart people, like quants, software developers, and other traders.
In addition, a lot of these firms have extremely fast infrastructure (and extremely low transaction fees), so you can trade with high frequencies if you wish. They can also have tick data and level 3 orderbook data with minimum latency.
Even better, in some companies, like Virtu Financial, they hardly ever lose any money. In the last 6 years, Virtu has only had 1 day of trading loss.
This is why prop firms give such generous compensation. Their average trader salary is $99,607 according to Glassdoor. Jane Street's trader salary is $116,952. KCG's trader salary is $153,240. And all of these are not including the humongous bonus.
