Any ES night traders?

Using the DAX as a leading indicator could help. Dax trades in the middle of the night. Sometimes it moves the ES also.

You are thinking along the right lines, however, the use of "loose" was actually a reference to the loose state of mind after a big night out and the subsequent attempt at making a particularly witty post on Elite Trader. Unfortunately in this case, that attempt failed miserably.

There is no such thing as a dumb question. I think different websites and different software trading platforms use different symbols, or their own symbols. However, It's usually DAX.
But according to the Yahoo finance website, they use ^GDAXI
