Not like a DA ever had a case thrown out or lost for insufficient evidence amirite?

Not like an impeachment was done and trump was found not guilty (dont think jurors are different than voting congressman on political issues).

Not like many DAs are politically appointed positions who either get reelected or can be removed by the governor....

I am guessing I am a lawyer :)

Refresh my memory. Wasn't he already impeached twice? The congressmen who looked the other way are hanging on to dear life by their fingernails as it related to Trump, so they don't count. They're more worried about their careers than their integrity.

Impeached twice...indicted 4 times.... convictions count more if we want trump punished for his crimes. Lets see if a DA can make it stick as jurors ar enot subjected to reelection pressures and are mostly anonymous.

DAs that pursue political agendas I dont like,.... DAs that look the other way on small crimes because it is not worth their time I dont like (CA and VA)...a DA is a politician who is a lawyer (sounds like many congressmen).

I just think CNN/MSNBC are crowing about 4 indictments which to me personally mean nothing unless he is convicted of something. Obviously his place in the polls clearly show his supporters dont care about indictments.
Lets not wave the victory flag yet.....some of the charges are difficult to push over the higher criminal intent burden to be honest.

I think your average jury is a lot more reasonable/impartial than your average GQP congress so no, even if political, I give them way more credit. Trump and his acolytes have been handed their ass in court by a jury on multiple occasions already. The 91 charges I cite is over all four cases. The only way this goes away is if someone interferes (as did Barr and GOP is doing in GA) or cases are dropped over political pressure.

The bothsideisms to keep civil gets old Ocho. Sometimes you just gotta call a spade a spade.

In a legal case, being objective on the facts is foreign to many biased pundits here but I am just being realistic here...just because he was indicted does not mean it is a slam dunk he is going to prison... that is the most honest statement. trump is a fuckhole so dont think I have ever spoken up for him... but glazing knuckles over indictments seems juvenile when the polls show his supporters dont care and still vote for him. Thus it makes it appear the only way to weaken the GOP is get trump in prison since Biden is taking on a ton of water.

Ask yourself if trump was trailing Desantis by 40 points if several DAs would be going after him so hard in 2023..that question is what makes me suspicious of these cases having strong enough teeth to make trump history.

We have Hillary to blame for the past 8 years of trump and nothing would please me more than seeing him disappear but as much as he runs his mouth he still never takes any real actions cause he is an idiot.

remember I grew up in NYC...i been seeing trump since the early 80s and hated him ever since he started popping up in the NY Post.

This doesnt go away but dont expect slam dunk criminal charges either. trump has been handed his ass in court on ridiculous claims and appeals about the election but those dont serve as evidence on election tampering cases (he was allowed to file legal challenges no matter how absurd).

Calling a spade a spade to me is not equating his bullshit appeals being tossed out with a guilty conviction of election tampering. We only seen some of the evidence but a phone call that trump can lie about still seems iffy for a criminal conviction. politicians say shit all the time so unless there is direct evidence of him interfering or violating a law, i would not pop the champagne just yet until we are in court.

now jumping the gun into the full bias is not bothsideism....have you seen me say anything in favor of trump or ronnie haha.....i have just said these cases dont look so slam dunk the cheerleaders at CNN and MSNBC make them out to be.....I have watched different segments and all of them do not bother with legal arguments....just rehashing the same political ones.

Why all the lemon juice? The indictments are the first step in the right direction. Finally!

But if you had to bet your lunch money, how would you bet? Prison or no prison when all these cases play out?
