Any Christian Traders?

I would be a complete dud as a Christian. I like my sins a little too much. For example my weakness for married women. Having admitted one of my failings, let me say this:

Based on what I have read in this thread I would MUCH prefer the company of Christians to that of atheists.

I wish the true belivers well.

You don't have the balls to subscribe to the Christianâs hypocritical/denial/ moral/ framework, but you do hand over your dick to someone else's wife.

You don't have the integrity to uphold what you consider are christian moral standards, but neither do you have the guts to question them or to declare your own.

For one, I am glad you would MUCH prefer the company of âtrue believerâ Christians... with your standards it sounds like you have a lot in common with them.

Seriously, why do my fellow atheists here have to be so rude all the time? You never heard Ayn Rand or Carl Sagan blurt out "God idiots are just fucking idiots"... they were far more eloquent in explaining our position.

Maybe because Rand and Sagan themselves weren't idiots.

It is possible, and usually a practice of well educated and intelligent people to respect the views of others without the need to ridicule, judge, nor condemn them for their opinions.

They understand that ultimately it is just one opinion versus another, and they know if they make a strong enough case to support their own opinion, the need to attack the opinions of others is redundant.

I suspect too that people like Rand and Sagan were secure enough in their own opinions that they found neither pleasure, sport, ego gratification nor comfort in attacking others in such a Neanderthal way.

It is odd and perplexing when someone claims to be of superior intelligence and opinions as a result of that intelligence, yet they are found to act like a moron when expressing it.

At least one honest atheist out there. Can't endorse the activities but at least he admits what the problem is. Unlike some others.

Please stu, show me where the Bible, or any Christian doctrine or publication says that once I have accepted Christ as my Savior, I will no longer sin. Please show me that.

Therein lies a huge flaw in your belief system regarding Christianity, stu. Believers never have been nor will be perfect and sinless. If you have been around Christians that act otherwise, as if they are perfect and sinless... then you have been around Christians who are not acting Christ-like, and that's too bad.

You're right though, daliddle' has a lot in common with Christians, the same things he has with you and me. All three of us were created by God for His glory, we are all sinners, Christ died to atone for our sins, and you will have the opportunity for Salvation until you draw your last breath.

I know you think integrity and moral behaviour ought to be personal choices that everyone makes regardless of spiritual beliefs. I believe the same way. I don't need everyone to be a Christian in order to expect decent behavior from them. But I will say that I'd bet there are far fewer violent crimes committed in a Christian community of people than a non-Christian one. Interestingly though, if you read the New Testament, it was exactly those people, the thugs, "sinners and tax-collectors, the prostitutes, that Christ associated with. What did He say, "the healthy don't need the physician."

Personally I have always felt that you are an intelligent, moral person with integrity, despite the differences in our spiritual beliefs. I have read many of your thoughts about this matter. Maybe someday your heart will soften, maybe not. I guarantee this though, there is not one believer on this board who has read your thoughts and said, "gee, maybe he is right.... I need to rethink my beliefs."

I mean it is really sad that a guy cannot open a thread, perhaps looking for some fellowship with other traders who are Christians, without being attacked for his beliefs. What you are doing stu is destructive and inappropriate. It shows no respect for other people and their rights to believe as they wish. Hence I find it difficult to buy into any longer my previous belief that you value morality and integrity. Your incessant persecution of others is absolutely ridiculous.
