Any able to connect to IB Sunday 7th Jan???

The SSL box is not for login. Login is always SSL.
The SSL box is for the data and trades.
 
Ive noticed my standalone app does not connect.

But the applet on the ib website does connect!!!

I am going to upgrade my TWS to the latest version...

Oh, is this in their documentation? I kind of figured that an option for encrypted quotes would be in the application, not on the login screen -_-

I think you will find that the authentication is encrypted regardless of the SSL setting. The subsequent session is nnot if you leave SSL off.
