Look, guns are fine, I have several. Maybe only about 500 rounds of ammunition, because I don't feel paranoid about attack, I live in a great neighborhood, and I'm not afraid of the U.S. military either. Even though I've been in Europe for a few months, I feel my family is safe back at home.
But there should be some limit to what people can buy. I know people from my gun range that I'm more scared of than any on the street mugger. They use their guns as some sort of right of passage. I don't think I have ever had to bring up my gun ownership, since it's not how I define myself.
