I still do contract work and I did contract work with a company that creates a SDK out of China. The quality of that SDK from a small company far surpasses anything I've seen in the USA in 15 years, dollar for dollar.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Chinese are not necessarily better, but there are a lot more of them and the law of large numbers means that if you have a society structured mostly like the US (mostly capitalist, if you believe it or not), that there are going to be outsized pareto-style results at the right side of the curve.

The CCP may be fat and gay but what they've done in the last few decades is incredible and would not have been possible without the people of China.

Still, I was asked to visit China for the project I said hell to the fuck no I don't need to be a pawn in your little diplomatic games. If the world rehomes manufacturing out of China, the next few years will be interesting.

I mean: look in the mirror first!... Question what western propaganda tells you... Convince yourself whether RT is propaganda or not. AND: just show us all readers a propaganda piece by RT (shouldn't be that hard to post such a link, isn't it?), I would love to see such a piece as I myself couldn't find any, though I'm reading RT many years now (but I follow only the world news and business news of it). And I think I'm really a critical person and sensitive for detecting propaganda... So, please go show us a propaganda by RT, if you can... :)

What CCP did is not incredible; it's just one word: dictatorship. Everybody does what I say no if's or buts' and that's the end. If United States and the Western world instill some of that, not all, we will be lot farther ahead. We don't even need to instill the full-fledged dictatorship of the CCP, all we have to be is a bit like Singapore or Japan and we will be closer to China's level IF you REALLY think China is so much more ahead.

But then again with everything, there are also trade-off's. China might be further ahead technologically, economically and etc. IF they are really further ahead (where is the mRNA vaccine that they pledged to produce?) but are these people actually living?? Having their own mind even their own beliefs and actually being themselves?? Do they actually know who they really as people? Or are they basically being like machines on conveyor belts? I mean being able to make money and quite honestly it's not that difficult to make money but being able to live and live freely according to one's own self and beliefs and values and thoughts to enjoy the money that you've made, that's the hard part. The key is balance, priority and flexibility.
