Ah, NoNo, you have known me far too long! But if you subscribe to a charting program (so many here don't), you will observe that MY system knows when BO's will occur while price is still in the consolidation. But you are right, utterly untestable. How DOES one, after all, backtest a lucky coin? I use a one-ounce Weiner Philharmonic, makes a very wealthy sounding ring when you flip it. Sort of...harmonic....hahahaha!
Amazing! This morning's ISM manufacturing index report moved the market not a whit. Not a tittle. Not even a jot. (Or is that tit and jottle, I forget my archaic expressions?)

Jack may very well be THE guru of the millennium (or century AT LEAST). I can easily picture Grobian scholars in the distant future, poring carefull over archives of Jack's posts wondering "what would Jack have done?" or looking at a recent theory or idea and declaring it un-Grobian.Quote from hypostomus:

Papers will be written on whether Grobian or Grobean is more respectful. Eventually the term will move into the vernaular, and the capitalization will be dropped, as in kleenex. And the collective oeuvre of the B-Team will be dismissed and suppressed by future Codicils as false-gospels-according-to-Hypostomus. Councils will note that the infamous satanic "666" was on the B-Team. The method eventually will be extended to NQ, and it will have to deal with radical heretical concepts like double tops and round numbers. Then Protestant Grobeianism (with an e, an i and an a for ecumenicalism) will arrive, reducing the FTT catechism to a simple "higher high on lower volume" that the masses can understand without drawing the sacred channels. Eventually the Gospel According to Saint Jack will even be translated into English.
