Did you see the Jones show directly after the event showing the Law restraining parents from running into the building to save their kids?
That show reported one unarmed MOM got her ass in gear, got past the "responders" and got her child out of there. Safe outside. Unarmed rescue. Thanks Mom. That kid gonna give flowers to mom for her birthday for a good long while, lol.

Who is going to have access to them and where will they be kept. If a shooter enters the building do you expect a teacher or administrator to run to that location and unlock the guns and be able to go hunt down the shooter while kids are running around panicking and screaming anywhere?

Dont try to compare it to a perfect system....It will provide some hope and maybe greater deterrence.....They should display the weapons in the front window..

At the start of the fall semester in a couple weeks, each of the district’s six schools will keep one of the firearms inside a safe, Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood

Right. Tell all the kids the school is protected by firearms, and anyone coming in to kill people is going out in a body bag. That's really all you need to do.

I am still amazed you expect some teacher to suddenly absorb by mytosis some police training and be able to confront a school shooter spraying the hallway with bullets with kids and staff running everywhere and chaos when even above average trained police failed miserably.
