Pussy cops now think they need a permission slip to do their job and that is a direct result of the defund the police movement and all that surrounds it. There is more than one thing contributing and if that's too complicated for you being it's so completely obvious, move along, I will be unable to educate you.

Any apprehension has less to do with talk of defunding (which didn’t happen and isn’t going to happen), and more to do with the well-deserved bad rap that far too many rogue cops got for bad behaviour. You can pin the blame on them and the resulting culture of accountability. Regardless, the fact that the cop was too timid to do the necessary says more about him and his relationship with his superior, and has far less to do with what you are claiming. Please get real.
 
I remember those marches and demonstrations in 2020 well "Make hte Police Ask Permission!" Those signs were all over the place and repeated in teh elections too huh :).

Not the fault of the cops.. must be the democrats who called for all police asking permission before shooting an armed school shooter...

Captain has it all figured out for us....

It was not the cops fault 100% for failure to move in... it was the left and their "Make Cops Ask Permission!" movement that started in 2020.

This is a story of a group of local cops who failed to meet the basic foundations of protecting and serving a community. The chief and most of the officers need to be dismissed.

This situation -- of cops failing to do their job -- is a very different conversation than "defunding the police" movement... which has turned multiple American cities into violent crime zones in under two years.
