Another school shooting

There are other questions as well. After he shoots grandma, he speeds over to the school, crashes and then opens up on people across the street at a funeral home. Then he's wandering around outside the school, openly carrying a weapon, for like 12 minutes. Witnesses saw this. And nobody called 911? Hard to believe.
Another thing I keep hearing. The cops say they were under fire continually. How is it that the gunman behind a locked door was continuing to fire at the cops outside the door? They may have taken some rounds for a few brief moment while he was entering the classroom, but they're trying to make it sound like they were pinned down for several minutes. Bullshit

Also did the classroom have windows like most do.... wtf.... no eyes on the room or going in through the windows or creating diversions to distract gunman....

ALSO.... how many times has a gunman ran into a school simply to barricade themselves and hide... NEVER... FUCKING NEVER. It is always to kill kids... so the idea that he was barricaded and contained is some weak bullshit..

ONE MORE THING.... how many fu cking tv shows do we see where cops shoot off the handle and crash the door....wtf...

That's a problem.

NRA sees no issue with a 13 year old buying guns even though he clearly is not old enough to drive, drink, smoke, or play the lottery.

An 18 year old is not old enough to drink or vote or perhaps rent a car but.... can buy an AR-15 and 30 round mag...

But GOP is so afraid of a small group of crazies they wont dare do something about that....

The other thing that is murky to me is that there is somehow a picture painted that these kids/teachers and the gunman were locked in a room behind a secured door and that there was no means of knowing what was going on.

Hello.....the drone shot of the school complex shows a series of single story school buildings with - as to be expected- plentiful large windows for each classroom. So what observations/strategizing about intervening/taking action were going on that side of the classroom. Or am I overthinking this and everyone should have just followed the protocol which apparently is to wait for someone to come with the key or something.

Admittedly I am not read up on this but in the little bit that I did follow, they were lying through their collective arses which gets me off to slow start.

So the police chief who is in the hotseat now for botching the response at the school by not giving the order to enter is named Arredondo.

And apparently he held a training excercise at that very same school in March on how to respond to a school shooting.

Shaking my head.
==========================================

In March, Arredondo posted on Facebook his department was hosting an "Active Shooter Training" at Uvalde High School in an effort to prepare local law enforcement to respond to "any situation that may arise." A flyer for the event he posted stated topics covered would include priorities for school-based law enforcement and how to "Stop the Killing."
