Same in South Chicago afaik. Start there, work out from there. Call Lori Lightfoot, get involved.
Only wealthy elementary schools can afford armed security guards because they will obviously be paid by the taxes of the wealthy citizens residing in the school district. Then again, the country will then know there's a constant threat that's big enough that those with money arfe scared enough to protect their children.
Also, schools located in high crime districts will need similar armed protection for their school children. Unfortunately, you can't tax them more because they're typically located in poor districts.
- In addition, there needs to be more funding and awareness for mental health illnesses, especially for children and teenagers coming out of this awful Pandemic.
In fact, two Republicans are on record in calling the Sandy Hook mass shooting a hoax, and one actually stalked/trolled survivors after the survivors spoke in person to congress...the survivors were there to beg the Senate to pass the strict gun laws that passed in the House.
Further, several Republicans are known to go on social media to defend the 2nd Amendment by posting family pictures and/or videos of their family with every one of them holding guns or assault rifles...usually after a mass shooting as their way of being defiant.
- Oddly, brain dead Governor Abbott recently was bragging about passing laws in Texas to protect unborn children just a few weeks ago. Looks like he forgot about the living children in elementary and high schools.

Who is going to intervene? The FBI is too busy investigating Donald Trump for hoaxes that Hillary Clinton and other democrat operatives put out.
Think about it, the democrats had a new President, a new majority in Congress and they spent the first couple months having an impeachment for a person who wasnt even President.
Sandy Hook was the time to do legislation.
But the Democrats lost it...They wrote and passed a bill that if it was in effect before Sandy hook would have done nothing to stop that shooting....Then the public knew that the Democrats were trying exploit a mass shooting..
It's a fucked up permissive gun law...promoted and passed by Governor Abbott.
Sadly, we currently have several states preparing to pass similar laws that model the Texas permissive gun laws.
As I stated back then, there will be more mass shootings of children and teenagers now that we have idiot politicians working hard to get guns into the hands of those that shouldn't be carrying a gun.
After Sandy Hook...some on the right were in favor of arming school teachers and school administration personnel. A few went as far to say to allow children to be armed to protect themselves.

Allowing an 18 year old kid to buy assault rifles is insane. Get rid of the assault rifles completely and up the age that one can own a gun (just one) to at least 21 years of age. And make people get a concealed weapons permit.
Plus, massive background checks that take time in order for an insane person to try and own a gun.
