If I was president the first thing I would do is order all military bases in red states closed and moved to blue states to make red states economies suffer.

Red states have better lobbyists to prevent that from happening. In fact, red states outspend blue states by millions of dollars to keep their military bases open whenever cuts in military spending may involve military bases and support for national guard / reserves.

In contrast, blue states outspend red states in their support of our soldiers at VA hospitals although Biloxi VA in Mississippi is the largest but the most expensive VA hospital in the entire world is in Aurora, Colorado...fought hard for by Democrat Congressman (former Army Rangers).

Growing up in Kentucky for a while...our state had heavy support from Congress and very generous military spending. Today, it's no longer that way thanks to the lack of support by current Kentucky congressional members that have medical backgrounds.

Right after the election was over, they came out an admitted that the Russian disinformation story was a total lie and Hunter Biden was under investigation.

Statistically analysis has revealed that if the American public knew this story was real, it would have changed the vote by at least 5%.

Having watched the controversy over North Carolina military bases for over three decades, the situation is more complex than that. To the local governments (e.g Fayetteville aka FayetteNam) and state government the military bases are a burden on the taxpayers - they require extra policing, have high crimes rates, impose a burden on roads, etc. -- all while the large tracts of land pay no taxes. There are numerous local and state representatives in North Carolina who urge that military bases be shut down.

These military bases are surrounded by businesses who sole purpose is to support the military. These businesses are typically the largest contributors and lobbyists to Congressman and Senators who urge bases remain open. Hence in Congress (where the decisions are made regarding military bases) you see a lot of support for keeping military bases open -- all bought and paid for by companies who make money off the military.
