The cop that shot Babbit was doing his job protecting The US Congress.Babbit didn't have to be there,shouldn't have been there and could have walked away from the situation at any time prior to trying to force her way past police barricades and getting shot.Even when police are violating their rights minorities cant walk way because they will be tased,beaten or shot.The women in the video would have gladly went on her way if the police had not violated her rights and let her go the second he realized that she was not the owner of the car and no one else was in the car.
