Anywhere Islam borders non-Islam there is conflict.

Shia and sunni at at each others throats too. Iran-Iraq for instance. The taliban considered shia to be non-muslims, and shia are treated poorly in places like saudi.

It's all symptomatic of this primitive barabaric religion. The west still hasn't learned that freedom cannot withstand a determined and violent minority, time to classify Islam in the same way we classify the Nazi party and act accordingly. I am not a Christian, if I had to live under 15th century Christianity I would feel the same about them. Western christians evolved and secularized so I don't mind living with them, muslims didn't. Try to imagine Tom Paine writing Age of Reason in any muslim nation today, he would be killed.

Islam is a culture, the pre-islamic culture of any mid-east nation is centuries old and irrelevent just as the ages old belligerent attitude of Sweden is irrelevent. Sweden evolved, muslim nations didn't. Islam controls almost all daily aspects of muslim life, there are almost no other influences. Imams preach hate and intolerance, that is the source of all this crap.
