The seasonal crime rate in Chicago peaks in the warmest part of the summer. Just as important, there are more shootings on holidays and weekends. More importantly, seasonal crime rate has a seasonal cycle with the weather in almost every big city in the United States and Canada.

That and the fact he ran into a trigger happy cop who doesn't value human life as much as he should. An adult in a well paid position who should know better then a 13 year old. Throw some of these cops in jail for a while they may think twice about shooting people so easily. But thanks for all the excuses for the cop. Maybe we should to rehabilitate the 13 year old. Oh wait, he's dead.
