Another one hangs it up

you have a number of choices. , the reality is that private industry will not look kindlly at your resume unless therer is a big shortage of your particular skill.
you can get a governemt job by taking an exam and your resume is not important.

there are many businesses where capital is not a big barrier to entry. assess your skills and give it a shot. the internet has made building your own business much easier than in the past.

lots of luck.

He avoids all my questions I ask him, for some reason, I just don't feel we are getting the whole story, he hasn't disclosed his method or answered any of my questions.

He doesn't have to, but I'd figure if you admit to failure, you'd be willing to share everything to prevent others from failure.

Doesn't add up, maybe he got greedy later on and blew it all? It would be hard for someone to admit they do something stupid and slowly blow it by getting greedy. To be going 5 years at this and blow it, you have to think they thought they had it going on, because how could you make a living for 5 years at this????

I don't know. Just don't feel like the whole story is here, I keep asking for more information, he has just avoided all my questions for the most part.

likely your questions are not worth answering or maybe it is your style.

You never give up Zdreg, you have to be put on ignore, i'm sorry, but you are getting as bad as Max401, find someone better to screw with, I want to learn, you come here to start BS all the time, I look for information, you look for reasons to start BS....

I'm done with you, and I'll ask the OP once again if he can answer ANY of the questions that have been asked about his trading style.

here is some advice. You're a clutz. You step on everyone's toes with this 19 year old wise guy act of yours. You readily admit you started less than a year ago, yet your the first guy distilling advice to the uninitiated.

You as well, who insulted me VIA pm, to chime on this one too, yet I don't even know you, or want to know you, guess i got to block you as well, owell, no skin off my back.

If it is wrong to give advice from a perspective of a newbie and share what I have gone through to other newbies, then fine, I don't deserve to be here, but I like helping others, so if you don't like my advice, you can go screw yourself for all I care, because I'm here to learn, and here to share my experience and help other newbies, WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR?

You insult me via PM, and now you are coming up here to post something completely off topic, you just contributed trash to the forum, congrats!

I'm here to learn and to share my experience, so again, go get a life.

What kind of internet businesses? Like selling stuff on Ebay? Sounds interesting, but if things don't work out, I don't want to be back in this predicament again. I really need to build a meatier resume with real work! I suspect, like trading, an entrepreneurial internet business venture might be more damaging than beneficial on a resume when looking for work.

Pretty much, zdreg. I have little interest in responding to persistently belligerent and unpleasant characters. They're always looking to pick fights or whatever. Don't feel like arguing with them, so it's good to just put them on ignore.

Well just answer my one question please?

Why have you not acknoweledged ANY question to your trading style or why you blew up?

Are you not able to answer this question? You now insult me as well, yet you still have not answerd the question from 2 other posters as well. I come here to learn from your mistakes, yet you not willing to explain, why is that, again something does not add up my friend.

Oh, btw, I'm not here to argue, I ask a simple question, your refusal to answer, and then insult me tells me you did something very wrong in your trading that you are afraid to admit, I know this about you now.... I hope the rest of ET acknowledges this, as it is fairly common to search for others to share your pain or to get it out to make others feel sorry for one such person.

But the fact you have not disclosed what method of trading you have done and your path to failure says that you fear telling the ET community, I asked you simple questions and you acknowledge none of them in previous pages, and then you say I'm asking to start a fight. You don't know me, I don't know you.

I search for answers from others that lose in this game, you say you lost, but you offer nothing else. I ask simple questions, and I get complained about for my readiness to learn and my determination in trading, that is why so few make it in this game.

I guess that is why I'm still alive in this game, I'm persistent and search for the answers and never sugar coat anything I say.

Broken,
Not to be nosy or anything, but just out of curiosity so some of us can put your situation in proper context... how large were your biggest winners and losers?? Did you ever rake in big 5-digit or even a 6-digit winner in all the years you traded?

Would you answer that question at least?

I'm here to learn, I don't accuse anyone of anything, and I will forgive the fact you did comment on me without knowing anything about me, but people have questions, I ask why you don't acknowledge anything anyone asks you about your trading style and what lead to your blow up.

Am I an idiot for wanting to learn more for the reasons for your failure.

If so, I'll accept it :) But I'm here to help myself and others, not get into arguments with people as you accuse me of.

. They're always looking to pick fights or whatever. Don't feel like arguing with them, so it's good to just put them on ignore.

Are you taking anger out on me for your trading, just curious, no big deal if you are. I just want to know what lead to your blowup.

I don't know about the rest of ET, but I personally feel you are hiding stuff from this whole experience and are afraid to tell us what lead to your blowup.

If I'm wrong, then please explain how you did it, if I'm right, well at least acknowledge that and I will stop persistently trying to learn from your experience.

Quote from Ripley:

I mean, if you could do it all over again... Would you suggest some other broken dreamer make a thread about quitting or not?

Would you acknowledge Ripley's question as well. I'm sure he would like to learn from your experience, as would all of us, that is all I'm interested in.

Why are you not acknowledging any of these questions about your blow up.
