But how come you cannot do simple math that I'm short a $6 crypto and my profits are limited potential but can get hurt if goes up a lot? $1500 is a sizable % gain

Alameda is not being rescued by Binance and that's the one has many levered positions on crypto through investments in projects, staking, defi, BlockFi buyout, Voyager buyout... Not sure if BlockFi will now become insolvent and cause more liquidation there
And the FTX dot com buyout by Binance is not guaranteed. Many people on CT are speculating it has a very low chance of going through when Binance goes through the books. Some big traders are gonna get so f*cked as FTX dot com is the platform for many hedge funds and institutional investors that trade cryptos
