You're right about obesity, there's a lot of it around. Particularly where the poor hang out.Quote from DHOHHI:
Uhh, I run 6 days/week. Weigh 2 pounds more than I did when I got my undergrad degree in 1975. So 6'2", 172 isn't anything I might apologize for. I'm healthier than most people 20+ years younger. I've had 2 doctors in the past 2 decades say "I'd be out of business if all my patients were like you".
But I get to subsidize the slobs in the US who CHOOSE to eat like pigs, who CHOOSE to not exercise and who CHOOSE to develop pre-existing conditions. I'm excluding those who have real pre-existing conditions.
Want a good laugh? Go to a shopping center, or a Wal-Mart, or a restaurant, especially a place that has "all you can eat" crap. Just observe the people there. You see extremely overweight and obese people at all of the above places. Some who ride around stores in scooters because they can't even walk due to their excessive weight.
Your measurements still don't get at your blood work, which is what matters. And all that running could be creating inflammation. Not saying it is.
