How can the Germans allow Merkel to continue to operate the way she does? What does the average German feel on a day to day basis "Well we are a great nation, we won the World Cup, things could be better...I sure could use a beer or two right now but I better stay home so the angry refugees don't try to kill me!".

Till today the majority of Germans was in favor of Merkel. There's no cure for that kind of stupid obedience. It must be something in their genes. Even on the last day of WWII, when Berlin was completely overrun by the Russians, the Germans stayed true to Hitler and refused to capitulate.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said "we must assume" the deaths of at least 12 people at a Christmas market in Berlin "was a terrorist attack", saying it would be "repugnant" if it was true that a refugee was responsible.
