Another Immigrant Terror Attack - remind me why?

I don't have a gun in this scenario, like I said, I have it covered. And neither do I need one, because Canada is largely a safe space. That's the point, and the irony, you feel in danger because of the ubiquity of guns, so you feel the need to carry a gun, which makes it worse.

And I've said - repeatedly - that if you had a solution to remove the millions of illegally owned weapons from the hands of criminals, I'd be more open to gun control. But we've been down this road before, and you don't.

How would you even know what "folks I am" given you have lived in the closet for close to a year hiding your true preferences for presidential candidate?

I've read the past few days of your posts and gathered a pretty accurate view. You're - yet another - foreigner who is obsessed with US politics, telling Americans what is wrong with their views, trashing our political system, our elected politicians, while at the same time not providing any insight on where you hail from or why you're so bent on America.

It's ok, really. Lots of folks like yourself on this forum - either from Canada or Europe, and obsessed with American politics.

He's correct about the first thing you understand when you're facing an attacker who has a blade (and you can't run away), you're going to get cut. But when you're well trained in defense v. blades (thus you'll know offense too, btw), you decide where you're not going to get cut. So there's no need to panic.

I didn't say there was a need to panic. I simply said "why get cut (on the outside of the forearms, for example) when you can just shoot the terrorist?" That's it.

I realized years ago, after more than two decades of training, that the scenarios I was designing were increasingly unlikely to occur in even two of my lifetimes. And being attacked by a guy with a knife is even more probable than being attacked by a guy with a gun, and both are far less probable than being attacked by a guy with only fists.

This instant escalation to deadly force in every crisis in the US is pathetic and a form of mental illness.

A knife is a deadly weapon. To be attacked by it is to respond with deadly force. There is no escalation to use a gun. If someone was trying to attack me with a stapler, you might have an argument.

your implied conclusion makes no sense. If you wish to make this a population argument. I would argue that ricter attempts to draw a random sample from a defective population. The population is probably defective because part of the reason say half of murders go unsolved is because a strong percentage of crimes go unsolved could be because the alien perps return home.
search google you will see that major cites report that half or more of murders go unsolved.

given that stat... how would anyone really know what percent of homicides are committed by legal and illegal immigrants.

we have had this argument before and I read the articles and presentations put forth to act like the immigrant population commits fewer crimes. That data was frequently as flawed as tancredos or worse.

3. but all that is a throwaway argument. the real take away is that every murder or crime committed by someone we did not have to let into the country is a travesty right now. Particularly the terrorist murders and attacks.

1) so all statistical analysis is flawed because it samples from a population?

2) how do you know whether articles use a distorted analysis if you don't even know the sources?

3) are you too naive to read between Ricter's lines?

Cool story, bro, tell it again!

Got any actual evidence?
Nm.

You know, who I am or where I am from is utterly unimportant. Same as it does not matter where you are from, hence I won't ever ask you. It's simply irrelevant.

What is however very relevant and on topic is that you seem to have no problem to approve a certain segment to scream voter fraud and that "millions of illegals voted" yet at the same time you concern yourself much more with the identity of individuals on an anonymous chat site rather than looking to fix the apparent fuckup in your system. After all you cannot have it both ways. Either you support and take no issue that YOUR elected leader puts up lies and insinuations or your system truly is quite fucked up in that anyone who likes can vote a national election and you give a shit about. Either seems quite a weird attitude and sense of patriotism should you consider yourself American.

Gun control is like a pathology to the left.
