Another Hollywood Liberal Bully

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

Short version: liberal Chris Rock labelled Tea Party members racist, when asked to justify it he went ballistic, wrestled a camera from a female pohotographer and tossed it 50 feet, then challenged the reporter to a fight. Of course, he was hiding behind two bodyguards when he issued the challenge. What a tool.

The New York Times bestselling author of the explosive new book, Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth About Obama’s Biggest Backers, Jason Mattera, had his crew’s camera snatched and hurled by comedian Chris Rock when he asked the star why he has called the Tea Party racist (video below).

“I was stunned,” said Mr. Mattera in an exclusive interview with Big Hollywood. “Tea Party members get called the worst things imaginable and still remain peaceful. But ask a big Hollywood celebrity to explain himself and the guy goes ballistic, wrestles the camera away from my camerawoman, chucks it 50 feet, and then challenges me to a fight. It’s unreal. And it perfectly illustrates why I decided to investigate and writeHollywood Hypocrites.”

The confrontation, which took place around 2:00 a.m. on January 23, 2012, at Spike Lee’s Sundance Film Festival after party at Tao night club, ended with Chris Rock challenging the conservative author to a fight, says Mr. Mattera:

“Chris Rock shouted, ‘You want to throw down? Let’s throw down right now!’ Of course, he was standing safely behind two bodyguards when he said it.”

The clash was ignited when Jason Mattera inquired about disparaging comments Chris Rock made about the Tea Party in an Esquire article in 2011:

When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism's almost over. Because this is the last — this is the act up before the sleep. They're going crazy. They're insane. You want to get rid of them — and the next thing you know, they're fucking knocked out. And that's what's going on in the country right now.

Jason Mattera says his confrontation with Chris Rock is just the opening salvo in a series of forthcoming ambush celebrity interviews with some of the big name stars he chronicles in Hollywood Hypocrites.

“Hollywood celebrities preach to us to vote for Barack Obama and his leftist policies, yet not even they live by the values Obama and the progressive left stand for,” said Mattera. “If conservatives and Republicans are going to win in 2012, we must muzzle Obama’s backers. And that starts with a full-scale investigation of the positions they take and the lives they actually lead.”

Among the celebrity targets Jason Mattera’s investigates in his new book are:

Alec Baldwin
Matt Damon
Leonardo DiCaprio
Madonna
Bruce Springsteen
Whoopi Goldberg
Bono
Arianna Huffington
Jon Bon Jovi
Spike Lee
Andrew Breitbart endorsed Jason Mattera’s book, saying that it “unleashes a barrage of body blows to Hollywood’s holier-than-thou limousine liberals that may make them think twice next time they open their pretty mouths.”

As for when he plans to release his next celebrity interview for Hollywood Hypocrites, Mr. Mattera says: “As President Ronald Reagan used to say, ‘You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!’ The next video is likely to drop sometime next week.”

I'm puzzled when celebs reveal their politics as though their opinions had some weight. Some of the people on that list are talented so I try to ignore their politics:

Alec Baldwin
Matt Damon
Leonardo DiCaprio
Bono

One of my favorite movies is Alec Baldwin in "Thick as Thieves". I just bought a copy for a friend a week or two ago. I think Matt Damon is loaded with talent and I really liked DiCaprio in "The Aviator". I love U2 and appreciate Bono's work in Africa so I try to ignore the supercilious aspects of his politics.

Madona? A mindless old woman.
Springsteen? A dolt.
Whoopi? Intelligent but a lunatic like RCG.
Arianna? LOL! She is a celebrity?
Jon Bon Jovi? A lowlife drug addict.
Spike Lee? A real hater, despicable and classless.

I have to say that I'm a little disappointed in Chris Rock, he behaved very poorly. I don't know what hassles he's had in the past with political paparazzi or anything, but nothing should draw out that behavior, he could have just walked away.

Quote from Brass:

Ah, yes, the Tea Party. The self-described "better-educated, higher-earning 'real' Americans" whose current darling is Rick Santorum. Rick Santorum, the home-school-promoting guy who summarily dismissed evolution and global warming, pukes while listening to Kennedy's speeches, and being the diplomat that he is, publically said he wished the US had a hand in the assassination of Iran's scientists (yeah, that's really something to say out loud). At the very least the Tea Party has shown its hand, and its apologists have identified themselves. And I so look forward to more acknowledgments from members of the thinking world.

Much as I dislike the knee jerk liberalism of Brass, I can't say that I have a high opinion of the Tea Party. Not because they're "racists" (they're not) but because they're hypocrites. Where were they when Bush and his gang in congress was giving us $400 billion deficits, without the excuse of a crash in the economy? And why are they dumb enough to back the same useless war mongering big government neocons who helped get us into this mess, when they could have backed the one candidate who is dead serious about balancing the budget -- Ron Paul?

Of course they are hypocrites. All men are. But the Hollywood crowd jams that shit down our throats in every movie, every tv show, every song, every news program. They have a louder megaphone in which to showcase their hypocrisy.

That list of Hollywood liberal nuts is just the tip of the iceberg. There are dozens of these outspoken liberal hacks in Hollywood. They are so bad I can hardly find a movie to see on a given weekend without one of these turds being a main character.

As far as the Tea Party being racist, that is just a liberal lie and talking point. If they say it enough they think they can make it true in the minds of the liberal herd. I think the Republicans should tie the Democrats to the radical and VIOLENT Occupy Wall Street group that they support.

I often think that the lack of thinking that occurs in the liberal mind must be a throwback to their Neanderthal genes.

Sigh, if only there were actual liberals and conservatives in this country -_- IF you are capable of research, it's easy to find out that both true liberal and conservative ideals do work in society, but our government does not operate in either mode (if you look past the surface).

OWS is largely nonviolent...but the Tea Party is also not racist. Will the media ever admit to these two things?

Quote from jem:

Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public...
Don't tell me. The respondents self-describe in these polls, right? Yeah, that's science, eh jem?

Meanwhile, they say everything about themselves that we need to know because Rick Santorum is their darling of the moment. The science-denying, home-schooling enthusiast who likes to throw up while listening to Kennedy's speeches and wants to put the god back into government. His god.
