I would ask how people are not making money in this market but then I remember that there's someone likely losing money on the other side.

They are going to need way more than condolences. They are scarred for the rest of THEIR lives.
And smallstops...I know you post about this a lot... but whats the Catholic Church say about suicide? Mortal sin the last I looked. And thats one you can't confess your way out of.

I post a lot about Catho stuff because I am very much interested in the evolution of Catholic thoughts/views over the last 2 000 years. I am also very much interested in Bouddhist stuff, as well as the evolution of Bouddhist views over the last 5 000 years.

Now, we do not know the full story, nor the mechanics that lead him to commit suicide. Again a lot of compassion for this person, whose only palatable exit in his situation was to commit suicide.

Now, do you really want to go down to asking real hard questions regarding this case?

The golden gate bridge is a magnet for suicides - thousands have jumped, few survive the impact - those that survive sustain massive injuries. In the bridge's history - only one jumper that survived returned to end their life on a second jump. Of the survivors, 19 of them have come forward and expressed words to this effect: “The second my hands and feet left the rail I realized I had made a mistake, I realized how much I needed to live, or didn’t want to die.”
 
when people see no other issues than suicide, the methods of suicide are various :
gun to the temps, pills, jumping, trains, etc. If someone wants to take their life, it is not the means that will stop the person.
