When are you the turkey that's been fattened waiting for your head to get chopped off wondering why food comes so easy...
Good for them... some guys make it on sheer random runs... slanging that premium on heavy margin... its great till one day its not.... no market neutral strategy has 50% draws much less gains like that..... negative gamma runs is what its calls..
 
Why? Overpaid and probably lost about 10% of their wealth. Hopefully they are wiser now? Who knows? They gamble away the rest in Vegas anyway.

I feel sorry for investors who are not market pros (e.g. doctors, sports figures, etc.) who got scammed by this guy.
